Join SideQuests host Ryan on a thoughtfully paced journey through North Vietnam. We'll start in Hanoi, immersing ourselves in its delightful chaos as we wander through old quarters, bustling markets, and tucked-away cafés. From there, we head south to Ninh Binh, where emerald rice paddies stretch between dramatic limestone peaks, winding rivers carve through ancient caves, and rural life moves at the gentle rhythm of water buffalo and wooden sampans. Our Quest finishes with an overnight, luxury cruise through the otherworldly limestone karsts of Ha Long Bay (it feels like you're in the movie Avatar).

Meet our new SideQuests Host, Ryan Lee

Ryan believes community isn’t optional for queer people, it’s survival. It’s shared language, you know, that quiet relief of not having to explain yourself. When he hosts trips, that invisible layer of tension so many LGBTQ+ travelers carry simply disappears. What replaces it is care, humor, and a group that looks out for each other instinctively.

As a full-time digital nomad since 2022, Ryan has traveled to nearly 40 countries and brings deep on-the-ground experience to every trip. He’s the founder of Capsule Adventures, a sober travel company, and has led multi-day group experiences across multiple continents, managing logistics, safety, group dynamics, and all the little details that make a trip feel seamless.
