About Michael and Matt

We're the couple behind @michaelandmatt — 12 years of traveling the world together, 40+ countries in, and still absolutely enamored with finding places that make us see the world completely differently.

We started SideQuests Travel because we kept getting the same message from followers: "I want to do this trip, but I don't want to go alone." So we built the thing we wished existed… small-group adventures for LGBTQ+ travelers who want community, real local access, and a group that becomes good friends by the end of it.

This is our website and home to the group tours we’ve been leading over the past few years. Now we have two new hosts leading alongside us as our community grows! We’re so happy you’re here and we hope you’ll join our Newsletter community to see what comes up next!
